Radiation is considered as a key to solve various problems in different fields such as safety, security, industry (especially manufacture), medicine, nuclear power, and etc. Our laboratory mainly focuses on the application of the Monte Carlo simulation in various radiation-related research area. We have carried out researches related to development of new types of radiation detectors, validation of radiation treatment techniques, evaluation of radiation dose to the general public and workers in their daily life, improvement of security & maintenance in nuclear power plant. With our expertized techniques in the MC simulation and radiation measurements, we will expand our research area to be more broad and innovative. Also, we aim to train experts in radiation application and nuclear engineering.
